House in Wandsworth – Interior Painting London
A project that brought colour and character to a beautiful family home
In South London’s Wandsworth district, we had the pleasure of working on a very special interior decoration project, led by the beautifully chosen colours and the sensitive yet distinctive design by talented architect Henrietta Herold. The house was created with the idea of warmth and a family atmosphere – and our task was to carefully apply the chosen colours that would give it a unique, personalised identity.
When colour sets the mood
This project was about more than precise painting – it was about being sensitive to space and understanding its meaning. The colour scheme was entirely the vision of the designer, whose combinations brought elegance and cosiness to the home.
We applied subtle, muted tones to walls and ceilings, using palettes from Farrow & Ball and Papers & Paints London (PPL). The colours transitioned naturally from room to room, creating a consistent narrative throughout the home. Each room had its own character, but the whole remained cohesive.
Precision begins with preparation
Before any colour was applied, we completed a full surface preparation: protecting floors and furniture, filling gaps, sanding, and priming all surfaces – including walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
We used original primers recommended by the paint manufacturers to guarantee lasting adhesion and depth of finish. Woodwork was painted with an eggshell system to ensure a soft sheen and durable finish.
Quality control from start to finish
The project was supervised by an experienced IGNAS manager, who consistently monitored the quality – both technically and visually. Every coat of paint, every detail, and every line met our high standards.
We worked with full respect for the home environment – keeping everything clean and organised, and coordinating closely with the homeowner throughout the process.

After completing the project, we received kind feedback from the owner:

What makes us most happy is that this was not the end of our work in this beautiful home. We were invited back for further stages of the interior decoration, and plans are already in place to refresh the building’s exterior.
As for Henrietta – we’ve already completed several projects together, and more are in the pipeline.
