When NC Development reached out to us about painting work at the facilities of Constantine Fine Art Logistics & Storage, we knew right away this was a special opportunity. Constantine is a recognised name in the world of fine art – and they also hold a Royal Warrant. You don’t get many projects like this, and when you do, you give it your all.

The brief was clear: paint 17,000 m² of concrete breeze blocks, covering more than 160 large rooms, corridors and stairwells. That’s a massive surface area, and we had just four weeks to complete it. No delays, no downtime – every day had to count.

In projects like this, time is more than money – it’s reputation. We understood that we weren’t just painting walls; we were proving our ability to deliver under pressure. And that’s exactly the kind of challenge we love.

For this project, we used the airless spray painting method, which is perfect for large industrial surfaces like concrete blocks. We worked with high-performance Graco machines, and thanks to special spray gun extensions, we were able to cover walls that were several metres high – some rooms had especially tall ceilings.

We began by priming all surfaces thoroughly, ensuring maximum adhesion and a long-lasting result. From there, we moved into the spraying phase. Our team of up to 12 decorators worked in rotating shifts, following a tightly managed schedule. Everyone knew their role, and every hour was used efficiently.

We finished the project in just 3.5 weeks, well ahead of the agreed deadline. The result? A clean, consistent, and durable finish that perfectly matched the high standards of Constantine. The space now looks professional, fresh and visually cohesive – just as the client envisioned.

Most importantly, the client was delighted – both NC Development and the team at Constantine were extremely satisfied with the outcome and the cooperation throughout. And what we appreciate most: this wasn’t a one-off job. Since then, we’ve worked with NC Development on several other successful projects – a testament to trust and long-term partnership.
