Commercial Painters – Project for Arden School at Tower Hill
Educational interiors in need of new energy
IGNAS Limited was invited to deliver an important painting and decorating project for Arden School – one of the London campuses of Arden University. The building at Tower Hill is a high-traffic educational space, used daily by students and staff. Corridors, classrooms, and common areas were visibly worn, with cracks, damage, and faded surfaces throughout.
The client wanted a full interior refresh – clean, modern, and professionally finished. IGNAS Limited was selected not only for our strong reputation and high-quality workmanship, but also for our experience working in live educational environments and our ability to manage the entire project from start to finish.
Scope of works – three weeks for a complete transformation
We were commissioned to carry out a complete interior redecoration across:
- corridors, classrooms, offices and shared spaces,
- surface preparation (cleaning, filling, plaster repair),
- full protection of all furniture, flooring and fixtures.
A team of 6–7 experienced commercial painters was assigned to the job. Works were scheduled during the August half-term break, giving us uninterrupted access to the building while it was unoccupied.
The wall paint – Dulux Trade White – was specified by the client. This professional-grade finish offers excellent durability and a clean look, making it ideal for high-traffic educational interiors.
How the project was delivered
From the beginning, careful planning and coordination with the school administration were key. Every phase of the work was scheduled in compliance with health and safety regulations and site logistics.
The walls and ceilings were in poor condition, with cracks, chips and wear throughout. Our team thoroughly repaired all damage before painting began, ensuring a smooth and stable surface.
Our commercial painters are known for being quiet, clean and highly organised. Every room was fully protected before work started, and all painting was completed methodically and with close attention to detail.

Second of three projects – and a growing partnership
The Tower Hill campus was the second of three painting and decorating projects we delivered for Arden University. We had previously worked at their Chancery Lane campus (near Holborn), and after the successful completion at Tower Hill, we were invited to deliver another large-scale project at their Ealing location.
