A well-maintained exterior communicates professionalism, reliability and attention to detail-qualities that matter across every industry.
Office painting is much more than just applying paint to walls. It’s about planning, strategy, logistics, and adapting to a space that often remains fully operational throughout the process.
At IGNAS Limited, we work in a wide range of commercial environments – from standard open-plan offices and laboratories to receptions, staircases, and shared areas. Some interiors are particularly sensitive, with strict requirements for cleanliness, precision, and discretion. In such cases, painting isn’t just a finishing touch – it’s a standalone operation that requires careful planning and flawless execution.
We’ve completed hundreds of office painting projects – from small decorative repairs after electrical works or water damage, to full repainting of entire floors and corridors. And often, the work must be done under tight deadlines without disrupting the office’s daily operations.
In these types of projects, it’s not just about finish quality. What really matters is planning. Strategy. Flexibility.
Planning comes first – and there’s no one-size-fits-all
Sometimes clients approach us with a clear schedule – for example, their team will be away on holiday, or the office will be empty over a weekend. In such cases, we adapt entirely to that timeline, mobilise the team, and deliver within the planned window.
But often, we’re the ones helping to build the plan – and that’s something we genuinely enjoy. Together with the office manager, we analyse the daily rhythm of the space and propose the most effective way to carry out the work.
Weekend work – comfort and discretion
One of the most effective approaches is weekend work. We start on Friday evening or Saturday morning, complete a designated area – a reception, corridor, or shared space – and finish by Monday morning, including a thorough clean-up. When the team returns to work, everything is fresh, clean and back to normal – as if we were never there.
The following week we return to tackle the next section – either on another weekend or during night shifts. This approach allows us to work seamlessly without interrupting business.
Unseen but effective – night work and hybrid scheduling
There are also cases where the office operates continuously, and no downtime is possible. That’s when we step in at night. We work quietly, efficiently, and by the next morning, everything is ready to go.
Sometimes we combine night shifts with weekend sessions – depending on the client’s needs. This method offers maximum discretion and allows us to complete even large projects without being noticed.
There’s never just one solution. We always look for the one that best suits the space and the people who work there. That’s the power of experience and a tailored approach.
Punctuality is sacred – always on time, often ahead of schedule
At IGNAS, we’ve never missed a deadline – and we say that with confidence. When we commit to a timeframe, we stick to it. And if we can finish ahead of schedule, we do.
We understand that every hour of delay can be a real problem for the client. That’s why planning and execution go hand-in-hand. You can trust us – time is a matter of principle.
Safety first – just as important as the finish
Working in operational offices, especially in high-standard buildings, requires serious commitment to safety. For us, that’s non-negotiable.
Our site managers hold SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificates, which ensure proper management of health and safety on commercial projects.
Our team is also trained for mobile tower work and operating MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms). For every project, we prepare full documentation, including Risk Assessments and RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement), in line with property management and FM company requirements.
It’s the standard we work by – every time.
Trusted in commercial environments
Office painting is just part of our everyday work. At IGNAS, we also carry out projects in environments such as hospitals, art galleries, schools, logistics centres, and luxury retail.
Clients like BUPA Cromwell Hospital, Sketch in Mayfair, Constantine Fine Art Logistics, and David Zwirner Gallery have trusted us – because they know we deliver with professionalism even in the most demanding conditions.
