Projects which are located a bit further away from our headquarters provide us with an additional challenge, as we need to get to know the local design customs, style and atmosphere. Today, we would like to talk about two objects which we’ve had the pleasure to service in South West London. In both cases, it was about commercial objects, and these are always additionally interesting.
We are no strangers to providing services in South West London – in fact, we got to know this area quite a bit during the past years. Nonetheless, South West London never ceases to surprise us, as it consists of a number of vastly different neighbourhoods – Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Bromley, Merton, Sutton, Brent, Ealing, Fulham, Harrow, Richmond upon Thames, Hillingdon, Hounslow (West) and Merton – all of them with their own character, soul and style. While South West London is known for its high concentration of residential architecture, it lacks no commercial objects as well.
The first objects which we want to talk about today is All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. It is worth mentioning that it wasn’t our first time providing our services as painters and decorators for this particular client. It was the second year in a row that we had the pleasure to work there. We have started the work back in March 2020 but had to postpone it to a later term due to the Coronavirus outbreak. It was only a couple months later when we’ve had the possibility to return and finish the job. The scope of works included painting and decorating utility rooms. Thanks to the special attention paid to complying with all Health and Safety rules, we were able to perform our work safely. It is worth mentioning that refurbishment works at Wimbledon require a special, delicate approach. Due to the prestigious nature of this place, high personal culture and precision of painters and decorators are crucial. We are glad that we were able to provide this to our client.
Another project which we’ve had the opportunity to execute in South West London concerned painting and decorating eleven studio flats. The most important aspect of this project was managing a pretty narrow deadline. Fortunately, it wasn’t our first project for this particular client – actually, we were chosen precisely because he knew he can count on us based on our previous work for him. As it is our goal to build long-lasting relationships with clients who require professional painters and decorators in London, we are always additionally proud of recurring clients who come to us because of their satisfaction with our past work for them.
In addition to refurbishing the studio flats, our work included painting and decorating the corridors. The project as a whole had to be executed in high standard and to high-end quality – this is because the durability and longevity of our work were of utmost importance. That being said, we always keep in mind that our work is supposed to serve our clients for long years to come – both in the case of commercial, as well as residential projects.
